On Tuesday, January 31, at 7 p.m., the Museum of the Western Prairie will open its doors for a special presentation by Jeff Bearden about the history of the Waggoner Ranch.

The Waggoner Ranch is the largest contiguous ranch in the US. Its story spans multiple generations and over a half a million acres. The legacy of the ranch has been written by a colorful cast of characters that includes Dan Waggoner, Quanah Parker, and Teddy Roosevelt.

Jeff Bearden is the Chairman of the Wilbarger County Historical Commission and serves as a board member of the Red River Valley Museum. Hosted by the Western Trail Historical Society.
