Directions

Historic Hunter’s Home is located at 19479 East Murrell Home Road, Park Hill, Oklahoma, just south of Tahlequah.

From the west: Tulsa via the Muskogee Turnpike
From Tulsa follow the Muskogee Turnpike east to Muskogee. Take the US Hwy 62 East exit. Follow Hwy 62 East about thirty miles to near Tahlequah. Turn right at the first stop light (State Hwy 82). Turn left on the first road, Murrell Home Road. Follow Murrell Home Road about one mile and the home will be on your right.

From the east: Fayetteville, Arkansas, via US Hwy 62
From Fayetteville, Arkansas, follow US Hwy 62 West through Westville, Oklahoma. Continue on Hwy 62 about twenty-five more miles to Tahlequah. Turn left at the second stop light, the Bertha Parker Bypass (Hwy 62). Go through three stoplights, then turn left on Muskogee Avenue (also Hwy 62). Follow Muskogee Avenue out of town, then turn left at the State Hwy 82 intersection. Turn left on the first road, Murrell Home Road. Follow Murrell Home Road about one mile and the house will be on your right.

From the south: I-40
Take exit 297 off I-40, and follow Hwy 82 North for about thirty-five miles. Just before the intersection of Hwy 62, turn right on Murrell Home Road. Follow Murrell Home Road about one mile and the house will be on your right.

Group Tours

The Hunter’s Home does accept reservations for groups of ten or more. To schedule a group tour, call 918-456-2751. Special educational programs and demonstrations may be available.
