Our brick was purchased for us by our daughter, Tamara, for our 45 Wedding Anniversary. We were married in Blackwell, Oklahoma, in 1957 and are members of the First Families of Oklahoma. Our favorite hobby is family history research. We have 3three children —Tamara, Vance and Melissa.

In 2012 the Oklahoma Historical Society invited those who purchased one of the monogrammed bricks paving the Red River Journey at the Oklahoma History Center to share about the person or group their brick honors.
