This patio tells the story of an Oklahoma Pioneer family. The story runs in 5 tracks. The 1st track is a timeline running from 1837-2007. The 2nd track tells of the faith of these brave pioneers. The 3rd track is family. The focus is on a representative OK family where a Chickasaw Indian marries a cattle trader forming the family & friends you see here. The 4th track is education, tracking general OK educational experiences. The 5th track provides insight into these people's achievements & contributions to the state's growth.

In 2012 the Oklahoma Historical Society invited those who purchased one of the monogrammed bricks paving the Red River Journey at the Oklahoma History Center to share about the person or group their brick honors.
