Presented by OETA, the Oklahoma Historical Society, and the Oklahoma History Center, this interactive genealogy workshop invites participants to explore historic newspapers, census and vital records, land and incorporation documents, county histories, and subscription databases.

On Saturday, February 28, from 1 to 3:30 p.m., at the Oklahoma History Center Research Library, trained research staff will guide both beginners and experienced genealogists as they uncover family stories, military service, ancestral land allotments, and American Indian ancestry files. This immersive experience connects national history to personal history, helping participants better understand their own place in the American story.

Box lunches will be provided. Registration is limited to 60 participants, and advance registration is required. Workshop registration is separate from the screening and panel event.
