On Saturday, February 28, join OETA and the Oklahoma Historical Society for a special screening of The American Revolution by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. The screening and panel will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Oklahoma History Center.
See a powerful segment highlighting the struggles and contributions of soldiers, women, and Native and African American allies, followed by a panel of experts.

Dr. Karlos Hill, Dr. Anne Hyde, Dr. Natalie Panther (Cherokee Nation), and Dr. Jean Van Delinder are among the panelists.
Dr. Karlos K. Hill is regents’ professor of the Clara Luper Department of African and African American Studies at the University of Oklahoma.
Dr. Anne Hyde is a professor of history in the University of Oklahoma Department of History and editor-in-chief of the Western Historical Quarterly. Hyde will moderate the panel.
Dr. Natalie Panther is a historian focusing on Cherokee history, Oklahoma history and Native American education. She is an associate professor of history in the Department of History and Geography at the University of Central Oklahoma.
Dr. Jean Van Delinder is a professor of sociology and senior associate dean of the Graduate College at Oklahoma State University, where she has served in faculty and administrative roles for nearly three decades. She earned her PhD in sociology from the University of Kansas, following earlier degrees in American studies and humanities, and completed leadership training through the HERS Denver Institute.
