Honey Springs, Oklahoma: Historical Archaeology of a Civil War Battlefield with William Lees

On Saturday, March 28, at 10:30 a.m., author William Lees will present a talk at the Honey Springs Battlefield Visitor Center about the archaeology surveys of the Honey Springs Battlefield. He will also be discussing his new book, Honey Springs, Oklahoma: Historical Archaeology of a Civil War Battlefield. The program is free to the public.

Will Lees

William B. Lees is the retired executive director of the Florida Public Archaeology Network. He previously directed the historic sites division of the Oklahoma Historical Society and is a frequent contributor to scholarly journals.
