On Saturday, March 28, at 1 p.m., the Oklahoma Territorial Museum and Historic Carnegie Library will host author Lee Briix for a signing of his book Train to Muddy Waters: The Dover, Oklahoma Train Wreck of 1906 (Preacher Creek Publishing).

The book recounts one of Oklahoma’s worst train disasters, when a Rock Island passenger train traveling from Dallas to Chicago plunged into the Cimarron River after heavy rain, and flooding compromised the bridge in Dover, I.T.

Copies of the title will be available for purchase at the book signing. This event is free to attend.
