Construction Updates
Construction projects are underway at Henry and Anna Overholser Mansion, and the site is temporarily closed to the public.
Update: October 19, 2026
- Work has commenced at the mansion and a barrier fence has been installed for safety purposes.
- Patio concrete demolition has taken place to observe where waterproofing around the mansion needs to take place.
- New drainage is being installed throughout the site, leading water away from the mansion.
- The kitchen porch (a non-historic addition) has been removed.
- Windows and doors in the basement are set to be restored/replaced.
- All exterior doors and windows are set to be restored.
- The mansion and carriage house will see roof restoration.
