Visit the Oklahoma State Capitol Museum

The Oklahoma State Capitol Museum is located on the ground floor of the Oklahoma Capitol. Admission to the Oklahoma State Capitol and the museum is free. While on the ground floor, visits can stop for a snack in the cafe or browse for souvenirs in the Oklahoma State Capitol Tourism and Information Center.

Parking and Security

Visitors are asked to park on the south side of the building and use the south visitor entrance. Parking is free, but the area may be crowded from February through May when the Oklahoma Legislature is in session.

All visitors will pass through a security checkpoint as they enter the building. Bags, phones, and metal items will be scanned.

Tours

The Capitol and the museum are open for self-guided tours. Oklahoma Arts Council docents provide free guided tours of the art galleries and all six floors of the Capitol. Please visit arts.ok.gov/tours/ to find out more about guided tours.
