These documents reflect the results of the SHPO's comprehensive inventory and planning program. Architectural surveys and their subsequent survey report(s) are prepared in accordance with the guidelines in "Architectural/Historic Resources Survey: A Field Guide." The survey reports include property inventories, historic contexts, and annotated bibliographies. Reconnaissance level surveys examine large areas and identify both individual resources and historic districts that warrant further study for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. Intensive level surveys look at specific, smaller areas, typically previously identified in reconnaissance level surveys, in order to determine eligibility for inclusion in the National Register. If the intensive level survey determines that an area contains an eligible district, the report will identify specific boundaries and provide a more in-depth historic context. For more information, please contact Allison Archambo at 405/522-2713 or email aarchambo@okhistory.org.
The links below contain the surveys in PDF format. The quality of the PDF files below, especially those that contain photographs, may be grainy and/or unviewable. This is for the purpose of keeping the file sizes small enough for use on this webpage. If you would like a copy of any survey below, please contact aarchambo@okhistory.org. If you find an error in any survey (link does not work on page, missing pages within survey, etc.), please contact sjotley@okhistory.org.
Please click on the letter that corresponds to the city for which you are searching. Missing letters indicate there are no city names beginning with that letter included in a survey.
