Construction Updates
Construction projects are underway at Pawnee Bill Ranch and Museum. Plans include new roads and parking lots, upgrades to the museum facility, and restoration work on the historic mansion and barn.
Update: August 7, 2026
Current Projects
- All asphalt on site has been removed in preparation for new roads and parking lots.
- Currently performing earthwork activities for parking lots and driveways.
- Expecting concrete (curb, gutter, and sidewalks) to begin the week of August 10.
- New storm drain utilities to begin the week of August 10.
- The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will arrive the week of August 17 or August 24 to perform new asphalt paving.
- Remaining earthwork (backfilling and final grading) to follow asphalt completion.
- The expected completion of roads and parking lots is mid to late September.
- After roads and parking lots are complete, phase two will begin. This includes mansion restoration and other construction projects.
