“Shut the Door! Barns in Oklahoma: Use of Stone and Bank Barns in Oklahoma” webinar

The State Historic Preservation Office is hosting a webinar series entitled “Shut the Door! Barns in Oklahoma” featuring presenters who specialize in barn history, construction, and restoration. On Tuesday, June 28, the topic will be “Use of Stone and Bank Barns in Oklahoma.”

These presentations will be held on the last Tuesday of every other month, beginning at 6 p.m. The webinars will be limited to the first 100 registrants.

• August 30 – “Signs of Ethnicity and Adaption in Oklahoma Barns”
• October 25 – “Oklahoma’s Special Purpose Barns and Farm Structures”
• December 27 – “The Significance of Barns in the Oklahoma Cultural Landscape”
