On Thursday, June 23, the Will Rogers Memorial Museum will show a digitally restored print of the Lynn Riggs 16mm film A Day in Santa Fe.

Lynn Riggs (1899–1954) was an American author, poet, playwright, and screenwriter born on a farm near Claremore, Oklahoma. He is best known for his play Green Grow the Lilacs which was adapted into the landmark musical Oklahoma!

As a student, Riggs traveled to Santa Fe in the 1920s and 30s. There he filmed A Day in Santa Fe which documented Pueblo art and religion and the activities of daily life in the city.
